The Secondary Laptop Program has been developed to provide equitable access to digital safety and security whilst enhancing the teaching and learning opportunities at Covenant Christian School.
The Secondary Laptop Program (SLP) is a school-owned and school-managed program that will provide each student with a personally issued Windows laptop for their exclusive use at school and home. This device is an integral and compulsory part of their education and will provide consistency in accessing online platforms, programs, and digital tools for every student.

A Christian perspective
Equipping our students to live for God's glory involves both protection and preparation. The digital world is a vast and exciting space. It can also be dangerous and deceptive. We are seeking to assist parents in the nurture of their children by protecting students from the dangers of online spaces. We are also preparing students to navigate this world by providing them with the tools to understand and engage with the digital world. We help our students by growing with them; our protection and preparation strategies develop and change as the children mature. Through all of our technology programs we encourage our students to be wise, not conforming to the world but being transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2). Our graduates are equipped to live for God’s glory as they have been nurtured through their journey.
