No. Year 8 will continue with the school-managed iPad program which is included in tuition fees.

For students who BYOD, there is no Technology Levy.
For parents who wish for their student to opt-in to the SLP in Years 10 to 12, the Technology Levy will be $480p.a. in 2024. Parents must complete this form to opt-in.
What does the Technology Levy include?
- Either the Clamshell Laptop (Year 7) or the Convertible Laptop (Year 9 +).
- Device warranty (3 years for Clamshell; 4 years for Convertible).
- Next Generation Endpoint Protection.
- Access to TechServe IT support.
- Accidental Device Protection which entitles 1 claim per device free of charge. Subsequent claims details can be found under Damage & Repairs.

How do I pay the Technology Levy?
It is an annual fee that will be added to your child's fee tuition statement. Payments can be made in instalments if required - please speak with the Business Manager.
Do students get to keep their device?
Students in Year 9 2024 will own their device outright at the end of 2027 upon completion of the HSC.
Students in Year 7 2024 will need to return their device to the school at the end of Year 9 and will be given a new device for use in Years 10 to 12.
Students who opt-in to the SLP in Years 10 to 12 will have the option to buy the device at market value upon completion of the HSC.
