A one-stop-shop for our parents to find everything they need to know.

Parents
In Partnership

Covenant seeks to be an extension of the Christian home, so parents will always continue to be an integral part of our school community.

Parent participation ranges from being involved in day-to-day activities to being part of the School Association. Our Board consists of Association members who lead the school as a parent body and ensure that the original vision of the founding parents is upheld.

Covenant is intentional about involving parents in the life of the school and providing ways for parents to feel part of our school community. For example:

  • The Parent Involvement Program - Covenant encourages parents to be involved in the life of the school community. Each family with students from Kindergarten to Year 12 pays a Maintenance Levy that is waived when parents complete 24 hours of volunteer work in a year. Download PIP Jobs Information or download your PIP Declaration of Hours form.
  • Volunteering at school - If you plan to volunteer at the school in any way you must sign and return to the school the Volunteers Code of Conduct. See below.
  • The Covenant Prayer Group - A faithful group of parents and friends meet each week to pray for the school and community - more details below.
  • The school community provides extra support to families in times of need.
  • Various initiatives are in place to build community among parents such as Café Covie, the Class Parent model, Community Morning Teas, Working Bees, and community events such as Grandparents’ Day, Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Christmas Markets and many more.
  • Communication between the school, staff and families is encouraged. Parents are also invited to attend the various assemblies held each week.
  • Ultimately, a culture of servanthood and partnership is embraced amongst staff and parents.

Parent Involvement Program (PIP)

Covenant encourages parents to be involved in the life of the school community. Parents can volunteer in many ways - download the PIP information below to learn more about how you can contribute.

Volunteer Code of Conduct

At Covenant, we wish to ensure a positive child safe culture and are particularly mindful of adopting rigorous child protection protocols. While there may be times you are not strictly required to have a WWCC, because we value parent partnership, we may invite you to help with other activities that might not include your child being in the group. This may be done with limited notice, so we request that you do have a valid WWCC and annually complete the Volunteer Code of Conduct before participating in school activities.

All volunteers are expected to sign an annual 'Code of Conduct' form to ensure the safety of all members of the school community. Topics include:

  • Safety - covering all physical aspects of volunteering
  • Respect for others - staff, students and other volunteers will be respected.
  • Communication - appropriate communication practices to be used at all times.
  • Prohibited conduct - inappropriate behaviour will be avoided.

Please read or download the Volunteers Code Of Conduct and the WWCC Parent Information letter
