Our teachers do more than teach, they walk alongside students, reflecting Christ in everyday moments. Whether in the classroom, playground, or staffroom, they live out their faith in ways that often go unnoticed but have a great impact.
Mrs Frykberg, one of our dedicated Maths teachers prays with her students at the start of each lesson, asking the Lord to guide and direct them, and humbly seeking his help for herself. It’s a simple yet powerful act of trust, modelling dependence on God in all things.
Like many of our teachers, Mrs Frykberg regularly gives up her lunch breaks to help students with their homework. Her willingness to assist students is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love. These seemingly mundane moments, are just some of the encouraging ways our staff invest in students and lead them toward Christ.
Mrs Frykberg shares: "After teaching for 43 years, God has led me to the best school. The students are so respectful and simply wonderful. I love being available at lunch and after school for Maths help. Sometimes students feel embarrassed to ask their questions in front of their peers. By coming at lunch or after school they can get extra help with whatever they are finding challenging."
Let’s continue to thank God for our teachers! Walking faithfully with students, one lesson at a time.
