Week 5

Praise God for eternal hope in Jesus!

Prayer Suggestions:

• Give thanks for our staff, for their commitment and dedication to Christian education and their love for our students. Pray for our staff: Executive; Strategic team; Middle leaders; Teaching staff and Support staff.

• Recruitment of a new School Principal, wisdom for the board throughout the process, and for the provision of a Godly person to lead the school, who aligns with our vision and mission.

• Final Class parent morning tea taking place tomorrow. Give thanks for the class parents who have served faithfully this year and the support they have been to our school and families.

• Pray for Year 3 & their teachers, give thanks for a great year of learning and that the class loves learning about God and praying for others.

• Pray for Year 9 & their teachers, pray they will remain focused until the end of term, for kindness & respectfulness.

• Secondary school musical taking place next week. Give thanks for the hard work of staff and students as they have prepared for the musical for many months.

Week 4

Praise God that He is our Rock & refuge!

Prayer Suggestions:

• Give thanks that our Year 12s have completed their HSC exams, pray for rest & recovery

• Year 12 Graduation and Formal taking place next week, for a wonderful time of celebration for students and families as they have completed the HSC and their time at school.

• Year 10 Geography excursion to Taronga Zoo on Tuesday, for safety as students and staff travel by bus, for good weather, and a great learning opportunity as they attend a workshop relating to deforestation.

• Teachers as they mark exams/assessments and write reports, for wisdom and insight.

• Secondary school musical in Week 6, for the ongoing planning and preparation, for all students as they learn their lines and dance routines.

• Pray for Year 2 as they prepare students to move into Primary, give thanks for their teachers & established relationships.

• Recruitment of a new School Principal, wisdom for the board throughout the process, and for the provision of a Godly man/women to lead the school, who aligns with our vision and mission.

Week 3

Praise God that He saves!

Prayer Suggestions:

• Ongoing Year 12 HSC exams, for good health and good sleep during the exam period, students to be motivated, focused and diligent as they study & know God’s peace.
• Dance Academy concert, A Christmas Carol, taking place on Saturday, give thanks for all the preparation & for it to run smoothly on the day.
• Kindy & Prep 2026 Orientation taking place next Wednesday, for the teachers as they prepare to welcome their new classes, children and parents to feel welcome and to make connections with other families.
• Pray for Year 9 as they begin exams next week & for good study habits to develop.
• Year 10 excursion on Tuesday to attend the RYDA Road Safety Education workshop in St Ives to be an informative time teaching our students how to make wise and safe decisions on our roads as they get their Ls and Ps.
• Secondary school musical in Week 6, for the ongoing planning and preparation, for all students as they learn their lines and dance routines.
• Pray for Year 8 students & their teachers as they enter into a busy assessment period.

Week 2

Praise God that He is always with us!

Prayer Suggestions:

• Ongoing Year 12 HSC exams, for good health and good sleep, students to be motivated, focused and diligent and to know God’s peace.
• Year 10 exams taking place next week, for students to have good study habits, know God’s peace, understand their exam papers and to recall all they have learnt.
• Year 5 Health talk next Wednesday, for an informative evening to provide parents with helpful tools to have open discussions with their children during this time of change.
• Continued progress on building works to time & budget
• Association meeting next Monday night, informative & wonderful night of connection & fellowship.
• Give thanks for Kindy teachers & the growth & development of students & pray for upcoming Kindergarten orientations for 2026.
• Give thanks for Year 7 & their teachers & connections made with students & residents of Wesley Gardens Aged Care through weekly visits.
• Musical preparation, rehearsals, learning of lines & dance routines.

Week 1

Praise our loving God!

Prayer suggestions

• Give thanks for the holidays and a good start to the term.
• Year 12 sitting HSC exams, protection of health, sleep, focus & recall for each one.
• Future problem solvers national conference being held this weekend, give thanks for the talent and hard work of our students and pray for a few who are sick.
• Secondary school musical in Week 6, for the ongoing planning and preparation, for all students as they learn their lines and dance routines.
• Give thanks for the recruitment of staff, for many positions now filled, thanks for God’s faithful provision & for roles still to be filled.
• Board meeting taking place on Wednesday, wisdom for the board as they make decisions for next year and especially during this time of change.
• Pray for Prep, their teachers & teacher’s aides & healthy enrolments for next year.
