Working with us

At Covenant we passionately live out our mission of being a Christ-centred, biblically grounded, culturally engaging and academically rigorous school.

As active, committed Christians of a reformed evangelical persuasion, Covenant’s staff are focused on fulfilling this mission through the way that they personally and professionally fulfill their roles and responsibilities.

Engaging Culture

With a vibrant, open, friendly and supportive school culture Covenant is passionate about Christian education, and as a parent-controlled school we engage deeply with the parents of our students. Covenant is known as a school with high academic achievement, strong pastoral care and a commitment to serve others.

Great Subject Choice

At Covenant we place a priority on providing students with the best range and choice of subjects possible.

Great Facilities

As a growing school, Covenant is committed to an ongoing program of improving our vast range of facilities, benefiting staff, students, parents and the local community. The school is also exploring new ways to enhance both our learning and play environments.

Professional Development

Ongoing professional development is an essential part of life for staff at Covenant. Twice a year the school conducts its own week-long internal professional development program and staff are also encouraged to undertake postgraduate training at either the National Institute for Christian Education (NICE) or other tertiary institutions. Throughout the year staff also attend professional development courses run by various national bodies such as Christian Education National (CEN) and the Association of Independent Schools (AIS). We also offer our own internal mentoring program.

Extra Curricular Activities

Staff have opportunities to use their God-given abilities to provide leadership in a wide range of extracurricular activities such as: sports coaching, camps, musical performance and Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. Covenant Christian School does not participate in Saturday sport programs.
