1) Administration - Office Assistant (Student Reception) 

The Administration Assistant (Student Reception) is a vital person for the student to come to for information and support regarding needs in their time at Covenant Christian School. The role of the Administration Assistant (Student Reception) includes being the first point of contact for the school when parents ring, dealing with students enquiries and completing various administrative tasks.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS


  • Permanent part-time
  • 7.5 hours per week (Friday 8am – 4pm), 40 weeks of the year
  • Commence asap

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed Christian, of a reformed evangelical persuasion
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proactive person with good organisational ability and attention to details
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines

2) PDHPE Teacher: 2 full-time positions 

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS


  • One Permanent full-time
  • One Temporary full-time for 12 months (2019)
  • Commence with our Staff Induction Day (date TBC) followed by our preparation week (21 - 25 January 2019)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed Christian, of a reformed evangelical persuasion
  • Able to teach 7 - 12 PDHPE
  • Well developed classroom management skill
  • Can develop a culture of learning

3) School Nurse  

The role of the School Nurse includes health monitoring, health promotion, emergency care and liaising between parents, staff and students to ensure that students and staff are provided with the best care possible.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS


  • Permanent part-time
  • One day per week (currently Mondays) 8:30am - 3:00pm, 40 weeks of the year
  • Commences Term 4, 15 October 2018

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed Christian, of a reformed evangelical persuasion
  • Registered Nurse with current registration
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Experience working with children an advantage
  • Previous Mental Heath experience valued
  • Ability to work occassionally on other days desirable
