What is your role at Covie?
All things Secondary Sport - technical name is Sports Administrator. I manage all our sport events - carnivals, gala days and pathway sports for individual athletes in Secondary and Primary.
Best place you've ever been?
Previously in the travel industry for 20+ years - I adore traveling! Fav destinations would be Turkey, Czech Republic and Thailand… but also adore New Zealand as well.
Do you have any irrational fears? What are they?
Absolutely! Heights…. It’s completely ridiculous how fearful I am of heights. I lose my legs!
Where in the Bible do you turn when things are really hard?
The Psalms - favourite would be Psalm 139 for the picture it paints of how God is in control of all things.
If you could time travel, where would you go, and who would you see?
Wow big question. Wouldn’t it be absolutely cool to be back 2000+ years ago and meet the risen Jesus. Goosebumps! At least we all get to meet him daily in the word. If not then, then maybe back to when my kids were babies to give them one more squeeze! They were the best days 🤍
If you could go to the Olympics for one sport, what would it be?
As netball isn’t an Olympic sport (robbed!), it would have to be bobsledding! But is that just because of the movie Cool Runnings 🤷🏼♀️
What’s one thing you wish you knew how to do?
Surf - my whole family does it and I’ve tried for years and just cannot do it! At least I love the ocean and the beach 🏖️
What has God been teaching you lately?
That through him, you can be thankful and find joy in all things. God is faithful and he shows up in and through all situations.
Best chocolate in a box of Favourites?
Turkish delight for sure!
