It is a blessing to pray together as a school community! Our Prayer Group warmly invites you to join them in prayer every Thursday during term time, from 9.00-9.30am in Cafe Covie.
Each week in the newsletter, our Prayer Group provides a passage of Scripture for us to meditate on and some prayer suggestions for the week ahead. These can all be found here.
We would love you to come and be part of the upcoming events below. You'll have opportunities to meet other parents, as well as members of staff.
Parents are warmly invited to join us each fortnight on a Friday at our Infants and Primary assemblies in the PAS.
Our newest Covenant students had a fantastic first day of Kindergarten, settling into their classrooms, exploring new learning spaces, and enjoying plenty of fun along the way. It was a joy to see their excitement and curiosity as they began their school journey. A big shout out to our amazing teachers, Mrs Britz, Mrs de Wit and Mrs Schipilliti, and our Teachers' Aides who have helped each student settle in so beautifully.
Let's keep praying for our Kindy’s and their teachers! We’re so thankful for a great start and can’t wait to watch them flourish in confidence, learning, and faith throughout the year!
Head of Secondary School, Sam Glassock, chats to our Year 7 Coordinator, Tim Stanwell and some of our Year 7 students!
New in 2025 at Covenant is the Micah Project - the new Covenant service learning program. Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be engaging with the question “What does the LORD require of you” (Micah 6:8), and then seek to understand and answer the question for themselves. It will enable students to use their gifts and abilities in projects of service and working for the good of others. We hope this project gives practical opportunities for all our students to see and learn how to act justly, love mercy and find joy in serving others. Whilst many of the ‘challenges’ within the Micah Project are not new, this program will give focus, excitement and priority to equipping our students to serve the Lord with joy.
The Micah Project will give further opportunities for engagement with our wider community and will help our students to see and understand the journey of “walking humbly with our God”.
