On Friday 12 March we had an early celebration of Pi Day. Pi is approximately equal to 3.14 and is therefore often celebrated on March (3rd month) 14.
This year we celebrated with a Pi Day art gallery. Students from Years 5 - 12, teachers and even an Alumni, submitted artwork to be displayed in our gallery. There were so many submissions and a number of highly commended artworks. It was wonderful to see such creativity.
Special mention to Lydia in Year 6 who recited more than 80 digits of Pi and Orla who quoted 100! A Pi Day food stall raised $153.40 which will be donated to TEAR. Thank you to everybody who contributed to our celebration!
