Year 12 Drama Night

The fabulous Year 12 Drama class performed to a captivated audience of family and friends at the end of last term. Joshua Spencer performed a piece called ‘Letter’s Home’, which he devised himself from soldiers’ letters from the First World War. Jacob Osborne performed a dark absurdist extract from an Australian play called ‘Ruby Moon’. Emily Bennett shone as Lady Bracknell in an original interpretation from ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’. The four Drama students then presented ‘A Peter Pan-tomime’, which is an original piece of theatre devised during Term 2. All these works will be performed again for their Trial marking in July, followed by the HSC in August.Grateful thanks goes to Amy Gill for coming along and marking the students, providing them with an abundance of feedback to improve their pieces. Thanks also to Nathan Turvey for technical support on the night.
