The Covie Prayer Group is a group of faithful Covie parents and friends who are committed to bringing our school, its students, staff and families before the Lord in prayer. Please come and join us!
Prayer Group meets every Thursday during term time, from 9.00-9.30am in Cafe Covie.
Week 1
‘May the God of all hope fill you with all joy & peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy spirit.’Romans 15:13
Praise God for the joy, peace & hope that come from knowing Him!
Prayer Suggestions:
- Give thanks for the holidays, a time of rest and an opportunity to recharge.
- A productive second term - Students to settle in well and not be anxious about returning school, to be diligent in their work and for positive friendships to grow.
- New students and families, may they be warmly welcomed to our school community
- ANZAC day celebrations on Saturday, give thanks for the opportunity to remember those who have served, protection for the current members of our armed forces and an end to all conflicts overseas.
- Give thanks for a successful Yarrabah trip during the holidays, for gospel opportunities and time spent teaching the Bible, that the seeds that have been planted will grow.
- For a safe Year 11 Biology excursion on Wednesday to Fairlight beach to study the coastal rock platform and to collect data for their depth study assessment task.
- Year 12 Geography excursion to conduct field work in the city on Wednesday, may this excursion provide students with a greater understanding of urban settlements for their HSC work.
- Pray for Year 12 as they get back into focus for studies & for Prep students and teachers.
