Warringah Aquatic Centre hosted Covenant’s Primary Swimming Carnival on 5 February. With excitement, the four Houses expressed great enthusiasm commencing with 100m girls and boys freestyle. Our chief marshaller, Mr Groves, ushered the nervous swimmers to the blocks. Waiting with suspense for Mr Eatough to sound the siren: “Take your marks ….BEEP” and the swimmers plunged in and the crowds went wild.
As the end of the day came to a close; Aylward, Ten Boom and Lewis were grappling for extra house points with their cheering, while White House could see the light at the end of the lane. Congratulations to White house who finished with 652 points.
A big thanks to all teachers and parent helpers, the carnival couldn’t have run without you.
