Subject Selection Guide

Welcome to our online Subject Selection Information Evening.

In the videos below, Mrs Melissa Brown welcomes and prays for you, and Mr Tim Hewitt provides an overview of our information evening.

At Covenant Christian School, the primary focus of our learning environment is, in partnership with parents, to equip students to become men and women who serve and glorify God. We strive to honour God via the cultivation and delivery of a thoroughly developed curriculum which is Christ-centred, biblically grounded, culturally engaging and academically rigorous. It is for this reason that we have high expectations of our senior students. We require students to train their minds to understand and develop a mature, wise and biblically minded view of God’s world as they grow in their knowledge of who they are in Christ and their role in his kingdom.

In Year 10, students select the courses that they will study for the next two years. It's important to lay a strong foundation for future plans by choosing senior subjects that will enable students to serve God using the gifts and abilities that he has given. This Guide has been developed to assist students and parents to navigate their way through this HSC subject selection process.

Please note that while many courses are offered, individual courses will only run if there are sufficient numbers of students interested.

Please do not hesitate to contact the relevant staff members if you have any questions regarding the material found on this website.

We look forward to partnering with you in these critical years of schooling for your children.
