‘Dags’ by Debra Oswald - Director’s Blurb: This is the second time I have directed ‘Dags’ at Covie. It is a brilliant
play for a small ensemble which provides a challenge for the young actress ready and willing to play Gillian. The play explores the world vision of
a sixteen year old girl - her self-absorption, her morbid obsession with looks, the ever changing cast of best friends and the ways she escapes her
troubles with a packet of Tim Tams.
I am very proud of the team and how they have created our production. It has been a collaborative process from the start and they have each contributed
with ideas and energy.
We hope you enjoy the results!

With Special thanks to:
For all her hard work in making this production what it is. We couldn’t have done it without her. No one else could have dealt with a group of emotional
and dramatic teens as she has.
Emily and Alex
For willingly ditching class to help the cast prepare and perform our rendition of ‘Dags’.
The Pizza Delivery Guy
For without him, what was once ‘Dags’, would turn into our very own ‘Hunger Games’.
