On Wednesday 6 December the Year 6 students celebrated their graduation from Junior School. It was a well-attended event with many friends and family supporting the Year 6 students.
Mr Morton gave an engaging speech. The Year 6 teachers, Mrs Piney and Mr Eatough gave a poignant farewell address and then presented the Graduation certificates.
The Year 6 students were also involved in the graduation. Jasmine and Noah provided the welcome, Lauren read the Bible passage, Jaiden prayed, Nathan and Sophia reflected on the Junior years at Covie and a number of the students performed a dance to the music 'Celebrate'.
Thank you to Year 3 for the musical item you performed and to Mrs Baikie for the slideshow.
Year 6, we wish you every blessing as you progress to Secondary School.
Romans 12: 1-2
Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to Him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to Him.
