In preparation for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Adventurous journey, students need to complete a practice hike. Year 9 students were split into two
groups and each hiked a section of the Great North Walk near Berowra and Cowan Creek.
The students learnt a lot about themselves as they tackled the terrain, including what to pack for their next hike and what to leave behind! They
were all very grateful for the fine weather and although challenged to the limit, the students behaviour was commended by the staff who accompanied
them.
