After months of hungry anticipation, nervous preparation and silent dances with rubber chickens, 28 brave primary students arrived at Camp Kedron on a
warm winter’s day ready for ‘Drama Explosion 2018’. With facial muscles twisting in new and exciting expressions and vocal cords stretched in unfamiliar
and bizarre characterisations, the young actors and actresses soon began to work.
For two fun-filled, crazily bizarre days, the children explored outer space, robot dances and further interactions with rubber chickens that culminated
in a performance like no other – quiet children morphed into brave warriors, cheeky monkeys became well...even cheekier (now that had a captive audience)
and lame jokes, silly skits and giggling gag-sters were unleashed upon the (mostly) unsuspecting world.
It was two days of glorious adventure and bucket-loads of fun. The children grew in confidence, skills and silliness to the delight of all!
