Our aim at Covenant Christian School Sydney is not only for academic excellence but a broad all-round education which will enable our young men and women to take their place as Christians in our society. For some this will involve further study at University or TAFE, while others will join the workforce. We encourage our students to develop their God-given talents to the full, academically, spiritually, socially, creatively and physically.
Covenant Christian School Sydney's HSC results are excellent and well above State average. Past students are working in many fields, including law, medicine, various trades, computing science, design, media, hospitality, full time ministry and numerous service industries.
An education at Covenant Christian School enables students to enter courses, whether University or TAFE based, which are relevant to their interests and abilities and encourages a strong sense of social responsibility.
HSC Results 2008 on the Northern Beaches of Sydney
Covenant was once again listed in the Top 200 schools in all of NSW. Covenant with its 750 students is a quiet yet consistent achiever. Principal Bill Rusin states “to be placed 110th in the whole of NSW and 5th on Sydney's Northern Beaches is a wonderful reflection on the hard work by students and teachers.”
As a non-selective christian school school offering no academic scholarships Covenant Christian School Sydney is naturally thrilled with the student's results. Our 53 HSC students in 2008 sat a total of 305 exams with 39 achieving the highest Band 6.
There were also some notable individual achievements
Jennifer Syme 2nd in state in General Mathematics (against 30,334 students)
