Colin Buchanan Concert 2014 wins the crowd

Date Posted: 01-Oct-2014

Covie was delighted to be included on Colin Buchanan’s ‘Jesus Hokey Pokey’ tour on Wednesday 30 September.  There was much anticipation as the crowd of over 650 gathered and Miss Fruitcake entertained with her quirky and engaging comedy.  Cafe Covie did a roaring trade serving up tasty morsels and Barista coffee.

For over 15 years children and ‘grown-ups’ alike have been singing Colin’s catchy and fun Christian songs.   What a treat to see him in person performing a concert teaching Biblical truths in a fun and engaging way.  Also winning the crowds affection was Colin’s side-kick puppet ‘Nudge’, constantly playing tricks on Colin to the amusement of the crowd.

The covered basketball court was a popular place for parents and children with large games, giant lego, rollercoasters and Connect 4 sets to play with.

Thank you to the wonderful team from Koorong for all your help. For more information on this award winning song-writer, singer and entertainer, check-out his website:
