Look to the heavens as the Jesus. All About Life Campaign draws to a close. Skywriting is planned to mark the end of the campaign on Saturday 31 October at 11am, over Sydney The largest ever Christian media campaign in Australia; Jesus. All About Life, will draw to a close this weekend. To mark the end of the campaign a final advertisement will appear in the skies above us, with a skywriter creating a special message on Saturday 31 October at 11am. The campaign sought to raise awareness of Jesus and spark conversations among both Christians and non-Christians. It particularly encouraged Christians to talk about their personal perspectives on faith with friends, colleagues, neighbours and others. In a state first, all 15 different Christian Denominations united across NSW to support the landmark campaign to raise awareness of the person Jesus. Over 1600 Churches across NSW joined the campaign in an exceptional show of solidarity. Bringing the message of Jesus to their communities was achieved by putting up over 1000 banners in communities and running a spectacular total of 2,290 separate events. Events included, BBQs, concerts, festivals and fetes. Over 3000 people relayed the message to the masses and became public billboards by wearing Jesus. All About Life t-shirts and nearly 6000 vehicles across NSW proudly stuck on a car bumper sticker to show Australia that Jesus is all about life. The Bible Society who are behind the campaign received a number of orders for campaign collateral including: - 13,077 copies of NIV Gospel of Mark - 176,430 Jesus All About Life 8 Page Booklets - 86,825 Jesus All About Life Prayer Bookmarks - 10,059 copies of the Original Response Book Luke’s Gospel - 2,465 copies of the Greatest Gift Childrens Magazine - 3,644 copies of the Jesus All About Life Youth Education The campaign used media platform and the Church as the delivery point to hear the Gospel message for the people of NSW. It engaged with audiences via quirky outdoor billboard advertising, radio and print commercials and featured a creative, fresh but confronting TV and cinema commercial. The adverts were seen across the state over a period of 8 weeks. The campaign also included a viral element encouraging the public to upload their personal thanks with a photo to a website. The website www.allaboutlife.com.au to date has received over 140,000 hits with 1000 people uploading their own personal 'Thank You's' for the public to share. The website and campaign has touched people across the globe with 115 countries logging on to the website. The campaign also utilised social media with the Facebook page gathering (to date) an astounding 18,500 fans, who are all fully engaged with the campaign. "We are very pleased with the results and engagement from the public that the campaign has achieved. The response from individuals and the Churches has been overwhelming and has shown that Jesus is as relevant today as he was 2000 years ago!", commented Daniel Willis, CEO of Bible Society NSW and co-founder of the campaign. "The campaign has achieved its goal of raising awareness of Jesus by creating conversations and debate between people about Jesus and his messages and we are thrilled with this positive outcome." God Bless Jesus. All About Life Team
