Farewell Year 12 2009

Date Posted: 02-Oct-2009

This morning students at Covenant were greeted with a bright Year 12 sign, crazy parking by P platers, a maze of string and a variety of other "creations". Year 12 students had arrived early for their final day at school and uniforms were not the order of the day! Year 12 then ran an assembly for Secondary school students. Several videos imitating staff were shown, awards were presented to staff and a updated version of "Mamma Mia" sung (Read the new Mamma Mia lyrics). Several students and staff then demonstrated their break dancing skills!!

Then we had a more formal whole school assembly. This was where new school captains were announced and the current school captains handed over their roles. (Watch "campaign" speeches)
