Infants Fun Day 2009 was fun fun fun

Our God is an awesome God! This was one way to describe Infants Fun Day. The weather was outstandingly beautiful, not too hot, not too cold and it didn’t even hint at rain…

The children ran in their class races, had sack races and then attempted to haul themselves over the line whilst tied to another child in the three legged races.

After morning tea we had a rotating tabloids event. Children had to run under parachutes, throw Frisbees as far as they could, play “Duck, duck Goose”, attempt little hockey, waddle with a ball between their legs,  balance eggs on a spoon and toss bean bags into targets. It was so much fun.

Many thanks to the wonderful parent helpers who delivered stickers to puffed runners, help children move between events and did the run up and back to the bathrooms. We could not have had a successful day without your help.

Our microphone decided not to work so we were left without a voice that could be heard across the field. Congratulations to the children for listening their best and always being where they were meant to be.
