Covenant launches Twitter account

Twitter is a relatively new 'micro blogging' service. It enables users to send 'tweets' to followers of up to 140 characters, to allow quick sharing of information. It is very easy to get started with Twitter. Go to www.twitter.com and set yourself up a user account. Then, go to http://twitter.com/ourcovenant and follow @ourcovenant.

You will then see all of the @ourcovenant updates on your twitter stream. We will update the stream when new blogs are posted on the website, or when other notable things are happening within the school community.

For example the recent ski trip added some tweets about their trip.

This is just another way in which we can share timely information with members of our community. As a school we appreciate that parents and students may not always receive the weekly newsletter so this is one more way we can keep in touch. We hope you join us on the journey as we explore new ways of communicating!

LOL covie has twitter, wonder what they are will tweet, i think it will either be a waste of time or a realy helpful thing. !
