Colin Buchanan Concert at Covenant

Covenant Christian School was delighted to host a Colin Buchanan concert. Colin is a wonderful Christian children's performer who is also very popular with adults!  His songs are well known and loved by many Christian children.

The crowds lining up were entertained by Miss Fruitcake (Fiona Gosling - Clown Extraordinaire) and her offsider. Fiona teaches Drama after school at Covenant. Seriously Creative provided giant games which were popular with a wide range of ages. Cafe Covie was busy with coffees, drinks and yummy treats including those by Heavensent.

Colin's 45 minute concert included many of his most famous songs. The kids sang along and joined in the actions. Colin was able to stay after his concert and spent over an hour signing posters, books, CDs and DVDs. It was lovely how he took time to chat to each family even with a plane to catch to Adelaide for another concert.

Thank you to everyone involved who made it such a special event. Thanks to Lollipops Playland & Cafe at Frenchs Forest for the prize of a kids party. Thanks also to Media Incorp for five Christian Woman magazine subscriptions and other books as prizes.

Some background...
Tickets were available from Koroong Bookstores. Colin's concerts often sell out and this was the case for our first concert at Covenant with all 700 tickets being sold in a few weeks.

I remember watching Colin's songs on video when I was little. It's pretty cool that he's coming to our school.

i love collin! he is such a great guy. i go to like all of his conserts.hehe.souds like fun.DONT FORGET THE ACTIONS!thats the best part.

Colin is a really FANTASTIC kids singer..... i really wish i wasn't going away..... i have remembered so many bible verses because of his songs!!

The concert was so much fun! I remember going to one when I was little!! The music is amazing and Colin is such a great performer!!

Great concert - great fun - the kids had a ball but the adults (plenty of teachers included) had an even better time. Great coffee and chocolate muffuns afterwards - thanks Cafe Covie

my 5 year old brothers went to his concert! apparently it was awseome!!! ahhaa well done colin!!!!
