On Monday 5 November, nine students from Years 3-6 travelled to Gosford Tennis Centre to compete in the State Tennis Gala Day.
The weather was inconsistent and the students had to be flexible and start and stop games, then continue again.
The students all played well and a number of them only just missed getting through to the next round. Jonny Osborne was our best performer, winning his pool group games to progress to the elimination round, which he won to advance to the quarter finals. Unfortunately he lost to a boy from Northern Beaches, but what a great result!
Well done to all students who competed and a huge thank you to the parents who helped with transport and who supported the students throughout the day.
