Events

On Saturday October 25, the Covenant Class of ’93 had a reunion dinner at Pacific Thai Cuisine at Manly. Facebook made the event much easier to put together, as many of the students in our year group are now spread far and wide around Australia and the world. It was a night of great food and catching up in a beautiful spot – right opposite Manly beach.

On the night we managed to get the following students together: Tim Anderson, Klute Grice, Nathan Van der Meulen, Sophie (Biggins) Cole, Melissa (Geluk) Mackinlay, Steve Keipert, Matt Johnston, Darren Mobbs, Will Levy, Sue Kovics, Mark Skarchewski, Mark Tracey, Sarah Sweeney, Craig Ferns, Scott and Jodie (Smith) Crawford, Cassie Taylor, Graham Smeallie, Britt (Davidson) Parsons, Kristian Brassington and Pete Muddle. Also we had lots of husbands, wives and partners, and Will Gardner, Max Monin, Kathy Freestone and Julie Mathews (some of our favourite teachers) come and join us for a wonderful night.

It was great to see everyone so happy and doing well. We shared old war stories, and had some good laughs as we looked at the haircuts that we thought were cool back then!

We chatted late into the night – until we were politely asked to move on by the restaurant staff so they could go home – some kicked on to dancing in Manly (including one particular teacher who still goes very well on the dance floor!) Thanks to everyone who attended our 15 year catch up. We are keen to do something again soon…. And definitely something big in 2013 for our 20 year reunion.
