On Friday and Saturday, 13-14 June, members of the School Board and the Principal held an extended meeting to review strategic directions for the School. This is something the Board tries to do once a year - to step back from many of the more regular Board issues, and think broadly about how well we are achieving our Mission, and how we can improve the School and Association. The Board also spent valuable time in prayer, particularly around these strategic issues.

On Friday evening we were also joined by five of the other executive staff team who shared some of their challenges and joys in their School roles. The two days were a very useful time, with robust and stimulating discussion taking place in the context of an underlying common commitment to our Vision and Mission and a warm fellowship in our common faith. The discussions resulted in some refinements to our Mission Statement and updates to our Strategic Plan, and some other decisions about future staffing.
